Pete entertaining our friends at a party. We were only acquaintances around this time, but Rose certainly took an interest in Pete when he played "Concerning Hobbits" on his guitar.

In June of 2023, we were placed in a band through the work of our mutual friend, Garrett. Prior to this, we only saw each other at our volleyball group during the summer. Band practice was where we really got to know each other and became close friends.

After a busy Saturday, Pete was going to cancel on his Comic-Con plans and enjoy a lazy Sunday. Rose had other plans though. After a snarky text from her ("what do you mean 'i'M NoT CoMiNg?'"), Pete changed his plans and spent the day at Comic-Con.

A snapshot from a concert we played for our friends at Pete's house. At the time, Pete had just finished remodeling his house and hadn't moved in yet. What better use of the empty space than having all our friends over for an evening of music?

Pete asked Rose out in February of 2024 after spending a year as friends. We knew we wanted to be exclusive after three dates. This is the first picture we took together as a couple!

Last summer, Rose made one of Pete's dreams come true and took him to the rodeo! Bull riding and bucking horses wasn't Rose's cup of tea, but she stuck it out and enjoyed Pete's enthusiasm at the event.

One of our favorite hobbies together is gardening! We worked very hard together transforming my backyard into a vegetable garden. One of our favorite dates was at my house earlier in the year where we started our seeds. We've always enjoyed working in the garden alongside each other, ordering seeds, and reading about homesteading together.

I wonder what we'll do with all these tomatoes?

We were friends for a year. We hadn't been dating long when we knew we found the one. After 8 months of dating, Pete asked Rose to marry him and she said yes! (*happy dance!!!)
